beat it curly!
took this picture outside the libyan embassy in london yesterday after rebels had fought their way into the centre of tripoli and were on the cusp of taking over their city and country. Unfortunately this morning we learnt that it would be more of a fight than one had thought. when i asked one of these happy and peaceful protesters/celebrators what they were chanting his response was, "gaddafi have curly hair and we no like him".I posted it on twitter and someone from AP asked me if they could use it for their site.

kristin x matteo
hung out with kristin and matteo while i was in venice. we were supposed to explore the palazzo fortuni but it was closed, oh dear, so we got very tipsy on spritz aperols!šako polumenta
i guess this guy's pretty famous in eastern europe since every port we docked at i'd see this fucking mugshot. at first šako's face just pissed me off but by the 3rd or 4th port he kind of grew on me. you know, like how tuco slightly grows on blondie in 'the good, the bad and the ugly'. Anyway, it still pisses me off how he thinks he's holding a phone.

log!
i'm gonna miss log while i'm away. cj found log on a trip to the beach, they had a quick love affair but even after breaking up they were still friends. log liked its new life in the city so it decided to move in with some junkies somewhere in the lower east side. he was popular amongst all of us, quickly climbing the social scene like a model after releasing a "secret" sex video. i'd bump into log all over the city from the chicest clubs to the dingiest watering holes. log was always up for a laugh. during one of log's parties at the jane, i saw vincent gallo trying to swallow log. log i'm gonna miss you mate!

i was sitting in the smoking area of hotel chantelle, i felt some moisture on my ankles, yup, justin was sitting there next to me taking a piss. i was about to shit on him, instead i gave him a flag and took this shot. he was promptly ejected from the premises.champagne of beers

Justin x Alice
even before i arrived in ny, justin and alice were set. i've known justin a while now, alice much less. either way i've never seen two people from two worlds (chicago and paris) reach such amicable heights as these two have. what they have is beyond the word "love". i see a future of companionship. i see positive, pure and natural emotions colliding between the two. i've never seen someone care for the other the same way the other cares for them. i'm privileged to be their third wheel. they are my muses. this is their song!

so listen carefully, we're checking the surf at a spot called "dead man's", brett's telling me not to take pictures even though he is. Gabe is telling us there should be a shark fence but then says he's not scared of sharks. i fucking love my friends.
